The Utonagan is a breed of dog that resembles a wolf, but in fact is a mix of three breeds of domestic dog: Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd, and Siberian Husky.

I am a wolf for 24 hours. Time to freak out the city-folk, run at a speed that breaks the suburban street speed limits, eat raw meat, sire packs of half-wolf, half-dogs, and finally, howl at the moon like a boss.

One of the wolves I’ve been painting for this year’s Noel Night. I’ve got another one sketched out, and this one is about half way there. It’s coming together but I’ve got to put it away for a short time and see how it looks later.

I’ll have a print available for it sometime before the weekend.
